Thats funny that you said that, because I do the same thing with Verizon, I always use my mobile web after 9 or on the weekends, when I'm bored because I have all of those extra minutes.

But I do wish it was like Nextel will you just pay 5 or 10 a month for unlimited mobile web,

If more companies made it say 15 a month for unlimited web, I bet more people would pay for it, then having it for 7 a month like verizon does and having it waste your minutes.

Great new plans, Dukedog if I didn't already have a wireless phone and was very happy with it I would consider Cingular

I just called, the guy would not give it to me. He was positive about it, and showed me a page that contradicted what you guys were saying. He told me to go to my city (Dallas, TX), select features, then click wireless internet promotion. What it says is:

For a limited time only - choose Wireless Internet at no additional charge when you purchase a Wireless Internet capable phone online and activate new service. Normally $4.00 per month.
Not available in all areas. Airtime charges apply.

I didn't buy online/activate new service....somebody help me out here. His supervisor verified what he was saying.

I went ahead and fired off an email to them asking for it to be added to my plan (using their website). We will see. I'd like to use more of my minutes too

If you type in my zip (48101). It says that if you are an existing customer, make sure that your phone is internet capable and contact us. Maybe something is different there?

Maybe that promotion isn't avaible in your area if you read what you just posted it does state NOT avaible in all areas. I know it's avaible in Kingsport, TN cause I was at the mall yesterday and saw the signs saying Free Wireless Internet and 3,500 bonus night and weekend minutes.

It is available in every area that Cingular has service in, and if customer service told you that you can not get it , they are lying if you change to the new rate plan they have to add the wireless internet, if you have a Nokia(3360,7160) Ericsson(R278D,T60D) motorola(V90) it can be added because those are wireless internet ready phones.

I called them today and it took a while for the rep to understand what I was talking about, since the promotion just started yesterday. They did however figure it out. I still need to upgrade to an internet ready phone before I can get it.
