Voicestream does not cover the area that I'm Interested in.
<Eastern Ky and the Mountain Parkway>.
Cingular does
Probably the only thing there is analog.
I'll probably go the used phone/Local 50 plan without a contract and try them out.(19.95)
I can always bump the plan up for more min. if needed

From what I read They give free roaming and long distance in almost the entire state of Kentucky.
Thanks for the info folks

Why would you go with a local fifty minute plan when you can activate a nationwide plan with a no contract as well. kansas market is not just analog they have digital signal, I would act now with nationwide because , no one knows how long it would last.

The (entry level)national plan is another 120$ per year.
It just does not fit with my usage estimates

woot: I hope you dont go over the 50 minutes, because remember, just 20 minutes over that will cost you $10 (at $.50/min).

Woot, you could justify a more expensive plan if you consider the free long distance, and not having to use your home phone for L.D. any more, unless, of course, you never call L.D. The 3500 N+W minutes are nice.

go with the 29.99 250/3000 True national plan

spend the extra 10 a month if this is your first phone you will be supprised on how much you use it.
