| Guest Posts: n/a | I currently have AT&T wireless and this plan sucks in the Howell, Brighton and Pinckney area. I am so sick of leaving Livingston county and finding that I have a ton of voicemails when the phone never rang. Any help is appreciated!! |

my friend has sprint and he says that doesn't work out there. I know verizon works out there because I use it when I go skiing. And my buddy who has nextel seems to get service when he's out there. I would try Verizon or nextel if I were you. |

Anonymous: Addressing your ATT issue.... Have you tried calling 611 from your phone and reporting the areas that you don't seem to be getting the coverage you expect. If you have signal but are not getting incoming calls, it may have something to do with roaming on non-ATT towers. Due to your rate, you may not see any roaming charges on your bill, but in fact you are roaming off their network. Sometimes all it takes is an update to the phone or a heads up to the technical support and these things can sometimes be resolved. |

DriverDown, that makes two bad cases for SprintPCS in that area. My friend also can't use his Sprint phone at his house in Brighton, not far from Mt. Brighton, however, they just enlarged their coverage map of that area, so they might be adding coverage there. I currently use Verizon and Cingular and in that area there are no problems with either one, however, Cingular seems to have a stronger signal there. To whoever posted this thread, both the Verizon and Cingular phones work great all the way from Howell to Mt. Brighton. I would definately go with either one, probably Cingular because of the awesome new rates on their national plans.

Thanks for the info fellas. I have had my eye on the Erickson T60 and Cingular for a week or so now. First time I see a deal on that phone, I may just go take the plunge. Thanks again for the info. |

Hey CDMA, Since DiverDown is studying to be a lawyer, he'll understand when I say that you can "virtually" sue him for "assault." From what I understand, "assault" is "threat to commit harm" whereas "battery" is action. We're all your virtual witnesses. DiverDown, do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? Oh wait, you're a lawyer, they never tell the truth. What am I thinking? Off the subject: Sorry DiverDown, I didn't realize that until, LOL. So you two must know each other. Thanks for the advise. I hope there won't be a bill in the mail. Anyway, DiverDown, how do you like your V60? |

Try Voicestream, they seem to have those cities not only on the map of their National Digital Roaming map, but in their listing of individual cities that they have National Digital Roaming in. Don't let this roaming that I am talking about scare you, it is free with Voicestream (free with some other companies too). It would be free to you anyways, because I am sure that you would buy your phone in that area. Here is a direct link to what I where I got this information from on the Voicestream National Roaming site: Voicestream Wireless National Roaming |
