Yeah I agree. I have been on them for months about it. I think they are cutting costs by only updating the maps once a year now unfortunately. They used to do it every 3 months.

Does it cost them that much to update coverage maps?

It probably does cost some big bucks considering all the brochures they have to print out, the new wall maps at each of the retail loactions & stores, and the web site.

At least do the online maps. I don't even see the "upcoming coverage" anymore. The tower maps, as well, need an overhaul, they were better before! They could be losing customers due to this...

I hear you Airb! Those online maps totally stink and need to be updated as well as redesigned. The tower maps suck as well. They used to be somewhat accurate but the last time they updated them they mistakenly deleted hundreds of towers and microcells from the map, (especially in CA). What's up with that??

I agree...at least do the online maps. But Larry, you're right. I haven't even thought about the big $$ it costs them to print new brochures, new maps for the walls, etc. But you know what: A map with more coverage on it will make Sprint look much more attractive for potential new customers! I think they could be gaining a lot of new customers if their maps would be updated and better.

Thanks for keeping us up to date, larry.

I too want to see improved coverage maps like competitors, such as Verizon Wireless.
