Can anyone tell me if Sprint has added coverage to the Bainbridge, Oh area. Along SR 306 from north of Aurora to SR 87 and east? Specifically around South Russell? They have always had a 'hole' in this area. I am contemplating changing providers in the near term and any input would be much appreciated. Chances are I will go with Verizon...does anyone have a gauge on their coverage in this specific area as well? Thanks a ton. |

I haven't been a Sprint customer in NE Ohio for about a year and a half, but I can tell you about Verizon in Bainbridge... I haven't had any trouble at all in that area. I've used my phone a fair amount in the Solon/Chagrin Falls/Bainbridge area, and I've never dropped a call. Sprint's coverage towards the extreme east and west sides of the Cleveland metro area were subpar... On the west side, I couldn't get any coverage at all in the parts of N. Ridgeville and Olmsted Twp. where I needed my phone to work, prompting the change to VZW. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I typically have trouble once I exit the interstate (SR 422) at SR 306 and travel east on Bainbridge Road, Old SR 422, and Bell Street. Sprint shows they will be adding towers and was really wondering if they have...since I will be back in town soon.

colts, Here is a Link to all the web cell site locators, and there are two for Sprint PCS, one easier to use than the other. You may have to register, but you can get all the sites they own at one site, and the other actuully maps all the actual cell locations, but it isn't always working. -Bill |
