is it dumb to buy a used nokia 6340i on ebay?? every 6340i i see on ebay does not come with a sim card. will cingular give me a sim card if i buy a used phone on ebay and take it to cingular to get it activated. or do you have to buy the sim card online or from cingular if i get a used phone???? if so.. how much is a sim card new or used??
it is for my g/f's brother. he lost his nokia 6340i a few weeks ago and doesn't want to pay the full price of the new phone. it is over $200.00

any help or input would be appreciated.

You have to buy a new SIM. A used SIM cannot be used again. The price varies from $0 up to $25. If you get them in the right mood at the store they might just give it to you.
