I read that Minnesota was negatively affected by the latest PRL, but when I look at the local map the whole state is pretty much covered. The reason I'm asking is because I have relatives in Minnesota that often drive to Wisconsin along highway 29 and this seems to be finally covered according to the new Wisconsin map. It would be nice if they had coverage all along 29. They pretty much stay in the Twin Cities while in Minnesota. So what changed and is there any reason they shouldn't update the PRL? Thanks for the help.

The new PRL does negatively affect Minnesota in several ways. In MN, RCC, Cell2000/Unicel, and Midwest Wireless were removed from the Extended network, and are no longer free on the America's Choice Plan. However, additional digital coverage was added on the north shore as Verizon completed a digital soft launch in that previousally AMPS only area, but this was actually in the last, uncorrected PRL as well. In the Twin Cities, nothing changed. On Rt. 29 and other major roads, where Verizon does not have native coverage, PCS is avalible, mostly on Sprint (billradio correct me if im wrong). I personally wouldn't update. This doesn't guarantee you wont be charged for roaming...

The coverage maps here haven't changed so I am guessing that all the changes in the PRL are errors just like the last one that had 3 versions.

that could be true, i just dont think id update it... taking all that coverage off of AC would be a terrible move, they would lose a good share of Twin Cities customers...
