Default USCC EasyEDGE False Advertising??

Why did USCC name their new CDMA2000 data offering EasyEDGE??

EDGE is a GSM standard, not CDMA2000.

They should have named it Easy1XRTT or something...

Default USCC EasyEDGE False Advertising??

Maybe there should be a law suit like NexTel's stupid PTT trademark law suit against Verizon. I'm sure there are some folks out there mad at this but I don't think there's any case to be made that its trade mark infringement and certainly not false advertising.

If you check out USCC's website, you will see that easyedge is all in small case letters to avoid the whole GSM EDGE thing!!

I just don’t get it. I don’t see any similarities between the two.
