In my area US Cellular has superior coverage to Sprint, Nextel, CellularOne, nTelos, etc. So I want to stick with them, but my Audiovox 9100 is getting damn old I talked to a lady at USCC a while back and she told me they were currently testing the Audiovox 8600, Motorola 731, Kyocera KX414e (Phantom) and LG VX6000. I would be interested in all of those (with the exception of the Kyocera.) I haven't heard anything since. There selection that is currently available is dwindling fast. The only phone they have now that I'd consider would be the VX4400, but I'd prefer the 6000 if I could get it. Anyone have any inside information?

Yes I'm in a CDMA Market. SillyBilly...... Who makes the A530? Haven't heard of that one yet. I've read about the audiovox 8600 and it sounds pretty sweet. I'm definately in the market for a flip phone. THe LG VX6000 has a lot of nice features too. The camera is kind of a neat gimmick. BTW, What is BREW/EasyEdge ? I've kinda been out of the loop ever since I bought that 9100 about 20 months ago. |

EasyEdge is the name of USCC's BREW service. From what I have read about it, you will be able to download ringtones, check stock prices, sports, news, ect... The A530 is a Samsung phone that Verizon carries. I believe the USCC version being tested will be called A535. It is a small flip with color screens outside and inside. It is about the size of the Moto. v60. I played with one at a Verizon store and I can't wait until USCC releases it!! I'm sure the VX6000 is a nice phone but I already have the Sanyo 8100 for Sprint and the "cool factor" of having a camera phone has worn off!! I like having a small phone like the v60.

I just finished easy edge training today and its a decent launch. I would say more but I signed a waiver so I dont want to get sued. Lets just say launch will have plenty of ring tones, games and information to keep people happy for a while. Since my training was at uscc corp office i went over talked to some people and found that the vx 6000 is final testing and is expected to be out before Christmas along with the Nokia 6225. USCC's picture service+- is definatly coming but thats all they will tell me. I should have gone to the top and asked Jake Rooney |

Ouch. You mean it will take that long? I was hoping it would be out by the end of October some time. Oh well, I guess we'll take what we can get | |

You will probably see the VX 6000 sooner since its in its final testing The Motorola 731 seem to have hit the market today for USCC. It's kind of fat but I have no idea on its perforamce but things sounded good for once on this moto. More to come, just gotta see who can pass the testing. |

Yea, I'll be getting the 731 over the 4400 just to make sure it performs well since I already tested out the 4400. Only thing I don't like already about the Moto is that it has the notorious moto squeek lol. That is if you hold up by the ear piece and twist ever so softly the moto squeeks away. Very annoying imo. |

Yes, I work for USCC. We have probably already talked on the phone if you had one of those annoying LB 337 error messages
