I am planning to get Verizon in December. Which phone(s) has the best voice quality and reception for Verizon that is currently out, or coming out within the next three months? I am leaning towards a tri-mode phone, but I could consider a dual-mode phone. Which phone gets the best reception indoors and outdoors? I live in Florida, but I occasionally travel to Michigan and Illinois. I travel to Chicago, so the phone would have to be able to penetrate buildings pretty well, and when I go to Michigan, I stick to the Muskegon/Grand Rapids area, and occasionally fly out of Detroit. Like I mentioned above, I want a phone that can penetrate buildings, such as airports and other areas real well, and I want a phone that has good voice quality and reception, as I have mentioned above. Any opinions are appreciated. I want a phone that has the best coverage and clarity within Verizon's nationwide coverage area, as I like to travel once to twice a year. Thanks.

I do not think you can wrong with the LG Vx-4400 or the 6000, and the Samsung Sch A530 is also excellent.

if reception is your worry, try the audiovox 9500, if you can still find one, just get an extended battery for it, and you'll be all set, the lg 4400 is also nice, that's if you want a tri-mode, verizon wont be releasing too many tri-mode phones from what i hear.

The best phone so far for Verizon has been the Audiovox 9500. It is not really sold by Verizon anymore (you might be able to get one from ebay or find a verizon store that still has one). That being said of the phones currently out i would say that you shoudl go for the VX6000 (it is only dual mode though). The Audiovox 8600 (this may be the last tri-mode phone we see for Verizon). Since you arent switching until December I would wait and see what comes out. Motorla should release the V810 by then as well as some other new phones.
