|  Verizon Wireless in Missouri?
Hey guys, I will be visiting my dad in Steelville, MO around November (Thanksgiving) and I was wondering how is VZW in Missouri? Peferably digital, since AMPS sucks my battery down in a matter of seconds [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I'm currently on a local plan for Texas, but will be switching to an America's Choice plan sometime, once I decide to do a phone upgrade... Kinda waiting for a "next generation" Motorola flip to come out for CDMA/Verizon. -Michael |

Verizon recently expanded their digital coverage near this area so you might have decent coverage in Steelville. I have only been to Rolla where coverage was great. You can try calling CS and ask about coverage in Steelville. Shwemp |

| Verizon Wireless in Missouri?
Verizon doesn't have service in Steelville, but you should roam on US Cellular - I did a couple of months ago when I was thru there. USCC has upgraded their service to CDMA, but unfortunately it's not made it into the America's Choice PRL yet, so analog is probably the best you'll get in Steelville. Depending on where you'll be, you might get Verizon occasionally. When I drive Highway 8 from Park Hills up to Cuba or St James, I'll occasionally get Verizon, but it's usually USCC. Hopefully by Thanksgiving maybe USCC will be digital in the AC PRL - right now it's analog only. |
