Sorry for all the posts, im trying to gauge the extent of upcoming gsm coverage now that im on this damn gait phone... Does anyone know if Tmobile plans to add to their network? I know its quite large allready in OH, but I need coverage about 1 mile outside of where they have coverage now (Mt. Vernon).

Asking if coverage will be expanded in an area like that is like asking for tomorrow's Lotto numbers. Unless you're the engineer looking for sites, or the guy who told him to look, it's a secret. I had a cabin at the other end of Knox County, and coverage from Columbus to Mt. Vernon was supplied to Columbus users who traveled between the two for business or commuting. There is very little demand the other way, unless you are talking about southwest of MtV. Then I'd say your chances are good, they should have rt. 62 covered the whole way. But think about this: what if they WILL add a site...how long can you wait? You will be frustrated for a long time. You need to buy what works today, and that may mean Sprint or the Cellullar carriers. Switch to T-Mobile after it happens. -Bill |

bill, i was forced to leave verizon because of my work and they changed providers.... sprint has no coverage where i need it, verizon does. the coverage is pretty descent all the way along 62, but im about a mile and a half off of 62 and get no coverage.
