Does any one have a coverage map for the ATTWS local map for Iowa? I am trying to help my folks get a new cell phone plan. I have checked the ATTWS website for two weeks and there is still no map available. The message I get is, "We are sorry, we are having technical difficulies (sic) to fullfill your requirement at this time, please try again later." Yes, they even have a misspelling in there. I have tried a few different zip codes for Iowa and I get the same result. This is an old SunCom (Telecorp.) market if that makes any difference. If anyone wants to try a Des Moines zip code, one is 50313. Thanks.

They have U.S. Cellular right now. They want to look at ATTWS to contrast U.S. Cellular when they change plans. They have an old plan--500 anytime, 1000 N+W starting at 7 pm--so they have been on this plan for a while. Having 7 pm nights and weekends is nice, but it's not nearly enough minutes for three people, including my teenage sister. They go up to Minneapolis quite a bit, and ATTWS had that in their local coverage a few months ago, but U.S. Cellular's coverage stops at the Iowa-Minnesota border. Maybe some day they'll have coverage up there. While I appreciate your enthusiasm about U.S. Cellular because they are a good regional carrier, I was hoping that someone from ATTWS in Iowa would be on these forums. Oh well, ATTWS is still the new guy in town. |

I have a coverage map from MN, it has all their local areas in MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, and MI. For IA it shows their local area looking like a road map up and down I35 and most of the way across I80, then up 380 to Waterloo, and a little over in the Sioux City area. What area will they need, maybe I could help you more. By the way, is Verizon in there area, becuase that also works here in Minneapolis?

The IA local coverage area is the entire state, plus I-35 up to Minneapolis, I-80 to Omaha, and Northern Illinois and Chicago. Not sure why the maps are not coming up. |

I encountered the same annoying problem. I emailed ATTWS and they emailed me this link, which brings up the maps: http://www.shopattwireless.com/webco...veragemaps.asp |
