I was poking around the recent transactions this morning, and came across a couple of applications involving WWC. It would appear that they are buying up a bunch of PCS spectrum from CommNet and Prairie Wireless. Maybe they are the same company? I don't know. I also don't know if either company was even providing service. I only know the licenses cover MN and the states to the West. I also know the transaction involves 2 licenses for the Bemidji area, and the application says they plan to use the spectrum to deploy GSM. Dan |

That's kind of odd, that area already has GSM (or will have) from Dobson. The only roaming traffic they could pick up would be Tmobile.
