Thumbs up Verizon Signal in my house!!

All yeah!! I just started getting good reception in my house! My 6000 used to go from 1 bar to extended network in my house, which made my phone pretty useless at home. But now I am getting 2-3 bars and can have an actual conversation!! I was wondering what could have happened and then I rememberd that they took down a whole bunch of trees along the main road to my house. Do you think taking those trees down may have been what helped the signal? I know they haven't put up a new tower by my house. Oh well, all is good in the world now. Now if that V710 would just come out...

Yes trees can certainly block signal.

How was your signal in Winter, with the leaves on the ground?

Signal has consistantly been bad until now. So I guess the whole trees had to come down an not just the leaves. I am not talking just a tree or two. They took down a bunch. They are putting new power lines up and are going make the road wider, so that is why the trees had to come down. So I won't be able to breathe but hey I can talk on my cell now! lol

Speaking of which, if you go to extended network, does that imply roaming charges or if let's say you're on america's choice, you're good to go?

No, Extended Network does not incur roaming charges on the Americas choice plan.

Just found that out, thanks. I was told by CS that it has to actually say "roaming" on the phone, which I have yet to see it do.

I would guess they replaced the antennas or something of the sort...
