Depends, do you just want to use it here in the metro area or do you go other places around the state also?

In eastern WI you will only have coverage along major highways with Tmobile, will this work for you? Both carriers are fine in the metro area, though any carrier will have its dead spots, you just have to make sure that they offer coverage in rural areas where you need it. Another consideration is mobile to mobile minutes, are you planning on calling other cell phones alot, and if so, which carriers? VZW tends to be a little more expensive, so if you don't need the coverage they offer, Tmobile can be an econmical alternative. Which ever service you do buy, try to get over to WI while you are still in your trial period and can return it if it doesn't work.

T-Mobile seems to have awesome coverage in that area, however, check the maps and use the trial period to its fullest. Good luck!

VZW does not have much native coverage, but they do have a lot of roaming coverage outside the metro area....

You might also want to consider ATT Wireless. When on the 850 channels, ATTWS is quite strong in the Twin Cities, in my opinion (I used their TDMA system for some time) they had the best coverage in the metro area.

Depending on where in eastern WI they go GSM my not be a very good choice. Hey Timberwolves, where in WI specifically are you talking about? It could make a big difference in the carrier you should choose.
