Hi, I'm ditching my landline at the end of the week, and need a provider. Currently I have Verizon, but the last few months the service has been less than stellar. I was extremely happy with them up until around February. The problems have continued, and I don't use my phone much at all currently, but I will be. I'd like to know what the best service providers are for the Detroit area of Mi. Was thinking of going with Cingular because of the rollover minutes, but I have heard some not so great things about the service. What good are minutes if the service is not good? Thanks for your input. |

I know im going to hear some comments that go against this, but you have a Nokia 5185i, if you upgrade your phone, you will see a big difference in service quality.

But, I don't want a new phone! *stomps feet, cries* Verizon told me the same thing, just got off the phone with them. And, they are in the process of upgrading towers in my area, so that could also contribute. Now, I have to figure a way to rig the bag I carry as a purse so I can find the doggone phone when it rings. thanks. |

Yup, upgrades the best option. The new Nokia is resonably large. Good Luck.
