Question Coverage in Western Upper Peninsula

Howdy! I'm looking for whoever and whatever will provide decent coverage in the western U.P. in the Lake Gogebic area (M-64/M-28 intersection). My pre-GSM Cingular Nokia phone would just manage to provide service. The coverage maps don't really tell much, even with a magnifying glass.

Grateful for any advice...

Well I know you don't want coverage maps but....Cingular doesn't have a GSM regional map for the UP. So the national is all that you have. Alltel has this which is there regional plan map, there national shows some more detail but it is too small...

And I managed to get this from T-Mobile, which roams on Dobson/NPI there I think same as Cingular....not sure how updated T-mo keeps there coverage maps though....

I am pretty sure those are the only two that you would want to use there. Are there any others that you know of? The trial period that they all give is great for your situation although based on the maps, I would see if a GSM worked first because I don't see much coverage at all along M-28 by the lake. And if the map is right you might end up returning it.
