Default Transfering Tracfone Units

How can I transfer units from my old phone to my new phone? I can't find anything about it anywhere.

Thanks.

I don't believe you can do that. i'm not really sure that you can keep your old number, either. I, then again, may be wrong, maybe someone else can chime in with some help, but i believe to the best of my knowledge it's not possible.

I remember reading that I could...but I don't know how to do it.

Update: Tracfone does allow it if the phone is still working.

As long as both TracFones are already activated, you can transfer the units from one TracFone to another. You would have to call Customer Service for that.

If service on a TracFone expires, and is reactivated within 60 days of the day the service expired, you hold onto the number of units that remained, but according to the Terms of Service, you would lose the phone number. However, I once reactivated a TracFone after it had expired but was within the 60 day period, I believe it was one week after it expired, not only did I keep the units that remained and even though the TOS indicates otherwise, it kept the same phone number.
