Images: 6 | Have you seen this cell tower near you? One of our prolific cell tower picture posters Yankees368 recently posted this picture of a pine tree camo'd cell tower. It appeared just for an instant in the Thursday, Feb 1st episode of "My Name is Earl" on NBC. ![]() Some of you might have missed this in the gallery, so I thought I would post it here for wider attention. I am really curious to see if any of our cell tower hunters can track down the true location of this tower. I don't think it is a prop. Here is the original post in the Cell Tower Gallery - My Name is Earl's Mono-Pine It shouldn't be too hard for someone to find. Thanks to Yankees368 for the nice HD screen capture.

Ha ha. I've seen a few different cell towers in the background on TV shows and news highlights. There was one monopole shown on Cops filmed in Riverside County, CA that I actually recognized and knew the exact location of.

This tower must be in California right? That building next to it has a strange facade.

Wait a minute, i'm not sure if we are correct about this. This is a "birds eye view" picture of that area, and there is no building back there that looks anything like our picture: ![]() But in this image, you can clearly see a mono-pine: ![]() and wait, it looks like in this picture, the back drop of those buildings is 100% fake around an existing structure! What's going on here.. Here is the completed structure: ![]() Oh, and try to spot the other tower! |

It's amazing to me that a camouflaged cell tower was shown in TV for just an instant and someone here screen-capped it and then someone else knew the exact location of the tower. Is this a great online community, or what?

| No. I can only laugh at these 'camo' towers.... a local town demanded a camo tower, and they got a redwood looking thing. Definitely not a native tree for NH, whatever it is supposed to be!! Somebody had a good laugh with that decision!!
