Hey, Joe, how about an updated photo count. I mean I know who's going to win (and it ain't me! ), but it would be fun to see where we are these days.

I have been slacking off, due to numerous reasons. I need to get back out there & get some pictures again, before the leaves start coming back on the trees.

7MP! I agree...it's quality (too), not just quantity!

I got my hand on a 5MP super digital zoom camera today and got some pictures of the local Nextel site being fitted for hybrid Sprint use.

Hey I just got a new 7MP camera as well! I usually have to scale them down to 3MP though because otherwise they are too big to upload here.

Maybe we got the same kind, he he. I still need a memory card for mine, though, so it's not quite operational yet(the internal memory only holds a dozen or so pictures). I ordered a 2GB memory card online.

Anyways, back on topic.

My camera came with almost no memory. I could only fit about 5 pictures at a time using 5MP. So I went to Best Buy and picked up a 1GB memory card for $34.99 with a $15.00 mail in rebate off of that. So $20.00 for a memory card is not bad.

What file size do you need to make it convenient to upload pictures from these cameras? Maybe I can up the limits if it isn't too huge.

Well when I tried to upload the 5MP or 7MP pics I couldn't do it. But the 3MP worked. I can't remember what the file sizes it rejected were but next time I'll make a note of it. I'm a little new at the digital camera thing.

Yes, just find out the file sizes of some of the pictures you have on hand.

Of the pictures I have on hand the largest one appears to be 2.70 MB and most averaging around 2.5 MB.

Heres a tip, any picture that you have that is too large for the forums, open it in MS paint, and resave it. That usually cuts down a multi-megabyte file to a few hundred KB.

BTW...added 1 more site today: http://gallery.wirelessadvisor.com/showimage.php?i=3131
