Does anyone know if there is anyway you can set a LG VX6000 to receive text messages privately where you have to enter a password to see the message? I've had no luck in finding such information. My service is with Verizon and no, I haven't called them yet. I don't like the idea of anyone being able to see them. |

Well you can always lock your phone, but by doing this you would have to enter your password even to make/receive calls or play with the menu. Pressing and holding the # key will lock your phone.
