Default Problems when walking, otherwise ok Plantronics and Jawbone

Phone is Razr V3m, carrier is Verizon and I have tried 2 bluetooth headsets:
1st Plantronics Voyager 510
2nd Jawbone 2

I first had the Plantronics 510 and noticed if I were walking the sound to/from the headset would break up. Sitting in car, at desk and all is fine. Usually had phone in holster on left side, BT headset on right ear. Over time I had switched phones, used the Plantronics and still noticed the breaking up (walking). I went back to my Razr (only bc I did not like the new phone).

NOW, tried getting the Jawbone 2 and STILL have the same problem. Either it's Verizon, me, or I am picking the wrong headsets.

PLEASE HELP! Don't have all this time or money to try 15 headsets.

Please try having the headset and the phone on the same side of your body. Try the headset on the left ear, to match the left Verizon holster.

I'd say the dropouts happen when this poor little 2.4 GHz Bluetooth signal tries to pass through your body versus air.
