I think the best application for that device is in the medical field. It could be a built-in blood glocose - insulin monitoring device that sends you & your doctor warnings if levels get too high or low, remind the user to take their insulin, and maybe even calculate exactly how much insulin to administer, allowing diabetics to have a little more freedom in their diet.

Yeah, I think that's what they're looking at doing with it. I, on the other hand, would like to have a fully embedded phone with a HUD/headset that fit over my ear.

I want to be a cyborg.

Why stop there? Have it wired right into your brain and dial the phone and communicate by thought...

It would almost be like telepathy.

Well, its Bluetooth, so you would still need a phone or other BT access point nearby to do that.

Like in the bathroom...or something a little more embarrassing.

Sorry to resurrect this OLD post, but I just saw it. Intellectually, this is a fascinating technology, not too far off from the cellular tooth I saw before (Talking Tooth Concept Phone, a Handset in Your Head | Concept Phones). Psychologically (morally?) it may meet with some resistance. I was personally humored that nobody posted "Resistance is Futile." (Personally, I always suspected that we humans were the inception of the Borg, but heck, we already have body piercing in every possible place--may as well make them functional. LOL)
