Is anyone having problems with losing the bluetooth signal between the phone and head set ?
I seem to be having this problem a lot !!
Does anyone know what causes this ?
At 1st I thought there might be a problem with either my phone and /or headset but I have talked with others who say the same thing happens to them. But it doesn't seem to happen as often with them as it does me.

Help !!!

It would help to know which phone and headset you are using.

Default Re: Bluetooth

As Jay said, much of it depends on the phone and headset.

With my one of my phones the range to my headset is about 6 feet. With other it is closer to 20-25 and it will go through a wall in my house pretty well. When I use the same headset with the bluetooth my desktop the range is 25-30 feet and it easily goes through the same wall. When paired with my laptop or iPaq the results are similar. It really depends on the device.

I have only tried the one headset.

My Samsung A900 has the useless bluetooth radio with a 6 foot range. It does depend on the devices sometimes.

My phone is a Motorola V557.
I am hearing impaired. My head set is an ELI bluetooth.
It plugs into the bottom of my hearing aid thru a DAI boot.
I don't know if anyone is familar with this or not.
It is a truly great for someone like me.
My range with the ELI is 30 feet. The phone is always at my side when I am talking on it.
Any clues ??

If the phone is a Motorola V557 then I would say its your headset. I have used BT headsets with the V551/7 models over 100 feet from the phone in open areas without problems. You should not experience any phone related problems at that distance.
