Is anyone having problems with losing the bluetooth signal between the phone and head set ? I seem to be having this problem a lot !! Does anyone know what causes this ? At 1st I thought there might be a problem with either my phone and /or headset but I have talked with others who say the same thing happens to them. But it doesn't seem to happen as often with them as it does me. Help !!! Laura |

As Jay said, much of it depends on the phone and headset. With my one of my phones the range to my headset is about 6 feet. With other it is closer to 20-25 and it will go through a wall in my house pretty well. When I use the same headset with the bluetooth my desktop the range is 25-30 feet and it easily goes through the same wall. When paired with my laptop or iPaq the results are similar. It really depends on the device. I have only tried the one headset. My Samsung A900 has the useless bluetooth radio with a 6 foot range. It does depend on the devices sometimes. |

My phone is a Motorola V557. I am hearing impaired. My head set is an ELI bluetooth. It plugs into the bottom of my hearing aid thru a DAI boot. I don't know if anyone is familar with this or not. It is a truly great for someone like me. My range with the ELI is 30 feet. The phone is always at my side when I am talking on it. Any clues ?? Laura |

If the phone is a Motorola V557 then I would say its your headset. I have used BT headsets with the V551/7 models over 100 feet from the phone in open areas without problems. You should not experience any phone related problems at that distance. -Jay Quote:
