Thanks for the correction Jay. I found a picture of the charger here: Motorola Bluetooth Headset Charger For HS810, HS820, HS850, HF820 for LG CU500 - CellXpo.com, so Jack can see what the charger looks like.

I had the HS850, but it was horrible with the Treo650. I lost it in my van somewhere and cannot find it. (long story). The new LG is awesome, but horrible with my phone so I went with the drive through looking plantronics voyager 510. Got it for 35.00 and the base from work for free. Now my landline at work and my cell are operated of the headset.

Well I am also looking for another bluetooth this thread has been wonderful thanks everyone. I did like the wep200 but it was just to small. I drive a big truck and it can get noisy. So if anyone have experience with being in a loud vehicle please let me know.

I have a moto H850, but I admit I have never used it. I got it for free a few months ago, but compared to my H700 it looks like an unwieldy beast. Currently I have a HS820, H350, H850, and an H700. Of all those I like the H700 the best. I agree though, when not using them with Motorola phones the range is signifigantly less than what I get when they are paired with Motorola phones. I only get about a 20 or 30 ft range when paired with my iPAQ, but when paired with a Motorola phone my range is closer to 100 ft.

I am also having problems with the H700 with Blackberrys. They have to be in line of site. I have been looking at the Nokia ones with great interest, but now I am waiting for the BlueAnte to be released and may be see a couple of reviews about it.

Yeah, I don't know why it is, but Moto headsets have the best range I've ever seen when being used with a Motorola phone, but just average range when used with other phones. Maybe Motorola uses better hardware in their phones to help boost the range of BT devices.

I wonder if this isn't the case with all of the headsets. I'm thinking of trying an LG headset with my LG CU400 to see how it would work as compared to my Motorola V360 and Nokia 6103.

I ordered a Moto H700 headset from Amazon for about $44.00 (includes shipping). This was through one of their resellers. Hopefully the thing will be "genuine" Moto. If not, Amazon will hear from me.

I currently have the Moto HS850, but there is a constant garbled sound anytime I'm talking to someone. It doesn't matter which phone it's paired with or who I call. I know it's the headset. It's not horrible, but it is annoying, hence the H700 purchase (and because it's a pain to keep pairing it with each one of my phones...)

I'm sure you'll like it. I never had any issues with counterfeit headsets, but I've bought all mine at Cingular Corporate stores with gift cards from their referral program.

That brand new LG BT headset with the red outline is awesome with any phone that doesn't say Palm on it. It works well with the razr, UTC 6700. Nice range too.

Zamboni, are you referring to the LG HBM-730? Thanks. LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-730
StephanieIrene mentioned this headset too, so I might give it a try. I've seen a few of these models at my local BestBuy.

Even though I already bought a Motorola H700 headset. I came across this review for a new Nokia BT headset from Phonearena.com and thought I would post a link to it for others who might be interested:

There were problems with Amazon and other retailers unloading buggy prior versions of the H700 cheaply at your price. When you get it make sure it says 'B' on the back of the unit, after the SYN number. Send it back otherwise, it is not the newest version.

Yeah on the 6700 it loses its pairing sometimes, but my IT manager says it works great with standard phones. The picture is misleading. The ear loop is not big, its just that the BT headset is that small. You hardly notice it when its on. It works with the BB's as well.
I'll stick with my big ol voyager 510 cause its the only one I get good range/ sound with my treo.

Ugh, I got one of the "A" series headsets. I'm not a happy camper about this...

If you hadn't of posted this, viewfly, I would never have known about the issues with the headset. Thanks again.

Well now I know why it was so cheap...I knew it was too good to be true.

Amazing, they are still out there! Send it back ASAP. I bought my first one for $120 direct from Moto on line.
The second came from the Cingular Corp store, and the third also from Cingular, but they were giving rebates so it was not too bad.

Google around regarding the 'A' version and knockoffs too. I think the main problems were dropped BT connection and operating ranges. Also, I think, problems connecting with Verizon phones.

You're welcome and good luck. This was a lucky catch...I've been off the WA forums for a while.
