I need one that does not break up with a Blackberry, I am getting sick of using Moto with the BB and the jawbone is nice but it is a bit bulcky for me. In the last 2 days I tried the Moto H9 (was lent to me by the dealer) and it did not work well with the BB so I gave up on it fast and returned it to him. Since I use several and like to keep one BT headset handy in each location that I am usualy at (home office, car and office) so I use 3 of them and the ones I am looking now to try are the BlueAnte, Nokia and most likely the Samsung
They don't seen to have too many of them, but it is surprising how little is known about them, considering it is Nokia. I'd be curious to find out how you would like a Nokia headset if you get one.

Before that, I had a Motorola HS820 and that lasted a couple of months. Maybe it's the user being too tough on the headsets and not realizing it.

If I'm being tough on the headsets, what maintenance tips do you guys reccomend ... when I buy my replacement, I want it to be my last LOL
I still have the Moto HS820 I bought almost 3 years ago. It still works. I have never had a headset break on me. The only issue is once I had received a defective headset, but once it was replaced I had no other issues.

I've been using a Jabra BT350 with my Motorola phone, and like it for that purpose.

I also conduct twice monthly international meetings with groups of as many as 200 people at a time using TeamSpeak hosted at a commercial server. I despise headsets with conventional headphones that cover the ears, and wanted to see whether a bluetooth headset of this type would work in this medium, thinking that if it is viable I might get an more upend bluetooth headset.

Last Saturday, I used the BT350 during a meeting, connected to my Windows computer with an IOgear USB adapter, and everything worked perfectly, except that a very long (5 to 10 seconds) lag appeared in all my conversations. I never experienced this with what I used to use (a Logitech USB headset), and no one else in the meeting experienced it Saturday when speaking with each other. Only me.

So, my question is whether this is a problem that is known with using BT technology in a TeamSpeak-like environment, or whether it might be specific to the USB adapter, the particular BT350 headset, or something else that might correct the problem with different hardware or software.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Could it be that your internet connection was lagging and the BT had nothing to do with it? I have used BT headsets for VOIP applications before and have never experienced any problem.

I don't think so, my wife and I share the same cable connection, and she was using a USB headset and had no trouble. We have both used USB headsets in this before over the same connection without trouble, it seems only the addition of BT to the mix caused the problem. Maybe I'll try it without both of us online and see if that changes anything.

Question Re: BLUETOOTH headset FAQ thread

i guess this forum never got going any way i have a Motorola H700 bluetooth headset. in a very noisy industrial area this headset doesn't perform very well it just clips in and out. i was thinking about the z9 but over on hofo their is a review that was done on several headsets and the z9 didn't do well at all in a loud noise area..i am thinking about the jawbone any info would be nice.

For me ..
it's the Blue Eagle for a full headset
the Blue ant z-9 for on the ear
thought I'd like the Jawbone, but it just wasn't comfortable
