Exclamation Get out of your cellphone contract company:Previously posted ,Newly revised

I posted to this forum early last week and for some reason they removed it. Well I'm new to this forum so if you need to move this thread to a more appropriate area thats fine move it dont remove it.
Thanks in advance.

Last week I posted I topic that was being fueled by rumors, but now I have fact from my job & also a friend of mine who works for customer retention at a mojor provider he/she stated his dept received a memo as well but with conflicting dates he said This Thursday and my job said This Tuesday. Whatever I guess time will tell.

I work for a Cell Phone dealer in NJ and we have been hearing rumors that a company was coming out that gets people out of cellphone contracts. Well I just received confirmation that its no rumor. We got POP/Material on Friday with instructions to display it on this Tuesday unless otherwise instructed. The name of the company is celltradeusa.com
I hope this thread will be helpful and remain posted

They could use some work on their site since I have to add the "www" in front to get ride of all the garbage.

Anyway, it looks like a service that allows someone else to take over your contract. It's not a get out of jail free card. When you sign a contract, you are still liable for it, unless you find someone else to take it over. With T-Mobile, all you have to do is call them and someone else can take over your contract, and there is no fee involved. (not that I know if this website will charge or not)

I can see agents taking advantage of this website once it becomes popular. They advertise "We'll get you out of your contract", you go to their store, they'll find someone else to take over your contract through Celltradeusa.com and you buy new service with a new carrier through the agent!

Cingular provides the same thing, you can get someone to take over your contract, alot of people probobly don't know about it & that is where this service will benefit from it.

Yeah, but the problem is trying to find someone who will take over your contract. This is where Celltrade will help.

That is true, it will be interesting to see how they do this and what fees they will charge, and if you have to give up your phone #. If you could keep your current phone # then it wouldn't be bad, I can't afford to give up my # at this point & alot of people are the same way.
Guess we will have to see more when they launch the web site.

Two months and I am out of my contract no need for me to worry about that. Also that is why you only get a one year deal

That's going to be tricky because once you transfer your contract to someone else, your number will go with it. It is easy to transfer a contract from me to you or to port my number from one carrier to another, but it is a whole different story when you want to transfer your contract without your number because it involves assigning a new number to the person taking the contract so you can keep your number and then port it to another carrier. I don't know if they can really do that because once you port, it automatically cancels the contract and you get billed for the ETF!

I wonder how CelltradeUSA makes their money. Any guesses out there? I'm thinking it is a fee-based service.

Trouble is, the success of a company like this is based on having a large pool of dissatisfied customers sign up. If they don't have the inventory of customers out there, then there is nothing to trade.

Just think of the type of service they will offer. This is not a service that people will need on a regular basis. This is something you will use probably once and then move on. So I don't think they will be asking anyone to sign up. They will most likely ask for a fee per transaction.

I got to work today at 4:00 and there was billboard truck there with a huge sign. The guys where talking to the owners of my job. They are hanging up a sign on our building right now. I took a few pictures of the truck. I got here and all the other stuff was mailed out already to our other locations. I didn't even get a Tshirt figures. I will take more pics as I see more.

Spam Nice try... I think what they're doing is awesome. I posted alot more than what you found. If you dont want me to inform wirelessadvisors.com members than what the hell is the point of this forum!!! I would understand your concern if all my posts where filled with affiliate links and I was benifiting from them.

Since your from NJ, where are these stores you & your employer are located at?
I would like to check this information out in person and read the pamphlet to learn more about it, that is if 1 of them are close enough, and I guess we should be looking for this truck billboard around here?
I guess we are all sceptical since it's something new & no one has heard more about it in the news or anywhere else, and the web site still isn't up & running with more information.

you or someone from the company are all over craigslist.....and you could be getting a benefit (not saying you are) without the use of affiliate links - there are lots of ways to receive payment. since no one outside the company knows what "they" are doing (since the website is not active) then it make it appear as if you are an insider.

thefreephoneguy aka "Eric Wurtenberg" I see your website is up, and it's a nice site and a novel approach to making money...

However your spamming marketing approach is a bit lame and tends to make me worry about using your service since you are marketing your service in a dishonest way...

The first thing any customer is going to look for is integrity from a person they are buying from and you just haven't shown that in your approach to market your service.

You first post on this topic was deleted because it appeared that you had posted the thread and then created an additional user name to reply and bump up your post. In the second post the user's name was ejw1977 "eric".

I suggest in the future you try approaching the owners of wireless websites and pay for legit advertising...instead of trying to trick people to visit your website.
