I am an active member on the official national AT&T Support Forum, known very well there as a very reputable Nokia unlocker. My member name is also GNOSIS on the AT&T forum and I unlock most newer Nokia GSM phones for just $5. Feel free to ask about me on that site if you'd like! I'm not a crooked seller or anything, I'm just a full-time student who loves the world of cell phones and picked up a cell phone unlocking business as a fun part-time job along the way. CLICK HERE to unlock your Nokia today! Thanks! |

Hey, I have a unlocked 6590i. However the browser on this phone is locked. Would you be able to unlock just the browser so that i can use it with T-mobile's GPRS service? Also, can be done without me having to mail the phone over to you? Let me know please. Thanx. |

Remote unlocking (what I do) only unlocks the SIM lock, not the browser lock. I can't help ya with locked browsers. Sorry

I thought that all you had to do was remove the SIM card and the phone was unlocked

Nope, if you remove the SIM, your phone is inoperable! Unlocking a phone means you can put whatever SIM you want in it. A locked phone only accepts SIMs from one network, like an AT&T GSM phone will only accept AT&T SIMs. It will not accept Cingular or T-Mobile or any international SIM. There are several benefits to unlocking your phone: If your phone is a world/tri-band phone (i.e. 6310i, 7210, etc.) you will be able to use international sim cards and therefore avoid high roaming charges. You will have the freedom to use a sim card from any provider, like one from T-Mobile or Cingular, and enjoy their coverage. Increase the resale value of your phone. You can sell your phone to any customer with any provider... T-Mobile, Cingular, AT&T, etc. You can put your sim card into someone else's phone and borrow it to use as your own phone. A call to your usual phone number will ring their phone now because calls to your phone number follow your SIM, not your phone. You can try out any phone that is unlocked! |

AT&T 3650 or any with firmware version 2.54 or higher cannot be remotely unlocked by anyone at this time, they can only be unlocked via cable the old fashioned way. Press *#0000# on your phone to see what you have!

No, sorry. 8860 is a DCT3 Nokia phone. Try searching for "DCT3 unlocking" on the google.com I believe DCT3 phones cannot be unlocked remotely (with a simple code entry)... it has to be unlocked with a cable. I could be wrong though. |

I have an Ericsson T68i from AT&T and I would like to unlock it... Do you guarantee it? What if it doesn't work, i don't have another SIM card I can try but I'm going overseas in August and I would like to use it. I will not be able to test it until i'm there.... how do I know if it works? also, why is it $25 not $8 ? i'll do it for $8 in a heartbeat. Jeff |

Gnosis, I am totally clueless about cellular phones except that I use one. What is "unlocking"? I lost my Nokia phone recently (I have Cingular service). I don't want to sign up for a new package or pay full price for a new phone. I have an old AT&T Nokia. I am hopeful that "unlocking" means that that phone could be used with my Cingular service. Please help. My nickname is MK71 |
