Hey guys I just recently both a Verizon BB Storm that I truly love. Unfortunately, I need to move to Montreal,CA for a very long time (3yrs) and I still want to be able to use my phone there. I should be cancelling my service with Verizon the day before my trip there or the day off... I was wondering what do I need to do once I get tp Montreal, in order for me to use my phone. Can i just go to any phone company and get a service on my phone or what/??? I need all of the advise possible, so I will be prepare for my next move |

Welcome to Wireless Advisor! OK, here's the thing. The Storm is sold by two of Canada's wireless carriers, Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility. Give Verizon a call and find out what your options are (whether they're willing to unlock the phone, canceling your service without an ETF as you're moving out of the country, etc.) I can't say whether the Canadian carriers will allow you to use your Verizon BB Storm on their networks. Some companies are fickle about this. You may just have to keep your current phone and buy another one when you get to Montreal (of course you could try to sell it on eBay, Craigslist, or privately). Telus Mobility has the best price for their version of the phone (on a 3 year contract, which is the norm with Canadian carriers) at $99.99 (Canadian dollars). Bell is much more expensive at $299.99. Here's a link to both Telus and Bell: TELUS Mobility - Canada's top wireless phone company Mobility- bell.ca Hope this helps.
