Talking Can I do this? Newbie steps up to the plate!

used Blackberry R-8700G RIM UNLOCKED AT&T T-Mobile PDA SmartPhone Quad-Band GSM Blue. Is it legal to take this used bb, put the sim from my sony erikson(SE) from tmobile, sign up for unlimited email and internet and use the bb instead of the SE?

If I have an unlocked sim how do I hookup with tmobile? How is the unlocked sim activated with tmobile?

I don't know if this is the right forum for these kinds of questions. If it is not then disregard.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if T-Mobile will let you get away with just that plan. Seems to me that I recall that now T-Mobile requires a "smartphone" plan for phones such as yours.
