Default Blackberry Storm 9530 problems

hi all
Just recived my blackberry storm and got questions :p
i cant get it to start atm even with the charger in but there is a red light like its charging, is it that it needs to be fully charged before i can turn it on? after a while the red light turns off and if i press ON i see a battery icon on the phone with a blue lightning but no light on the phone at all. Even after that i cant turn it on.
ONCE i got a clock thingie that turned around a few times then it turned off
HELP! :p

The device may need to be charged for a while before it will turn on if the battery is completly depleted. Leave it plugged in for a couple of hours then try it. Or better yet, leave it plugged in over night. Did you buy this device from a store or third party. If from a store, take it back. If third party, good luck. Do you know anyone else who has a storm? Put thier battery in yours and see what happens. Could be a bad battery, or charger or both.

No that red stripe means that either the phone or battery has cme into contact with water. Meaning the battery or phone could be useless ( depends which one was in contact with water or both) so the best of luck with it but you may have bought a piece of junk

Red stripe on the battery is normal on the storm battery, mine has one, and I have seen others they all have it. Moisture indicators are located on the side of the battery compartment, little white square (red if it got wet). I also believe there are others deeper in the phone, and require disassembly to get to them.

Do a search for an unlock code, plenty of places that provide them. I got mine from cellunlock.net.
