I bought a used blackberry of ebay with a clean esn. I currently have a motorola krzr, am i going to be able to reavtivate an old blackberry that i did not sign the contract for? and activate it under a currently non data plan if i agree to upgrade my plan with a data package? thanks |

Yeah it's a verizon BB, it was previously used on verizon. I actually ended up just going by a store today and they said it would be fine i just have to add the data package.

| Yeah thats all you need to do. You were lucky, in the past I bought 2 Verizon BB's from E-bay, touted as having clean ESNs. In both cases when I went to activate them with Verizon they would not activate them as they came up as stolen. In both cases I got a full refunds.

I have never been able to activate a BB on the Verizon web site. You can just call them and they will do it for you over the phone. They will just need the ESN number, takes a few minutes. Of course you should add the BB plan to your contract, $29.99 a month, unlimited data.
