Hi, all. My wife is going to leave her parents' Verizon service and take one of my family's ATT numbers so she will need a new phone. Since we have an OLD ATT contract, we are in the market for an unlocked phone as we do not want to give up our good deal. She would like a device which will allow her to keep contacts, appointments, etc. in her phone. She loved her old Palm, but she'd rather a device which can do all together. No one who has a Palm seems very enthusiastic, whether it be a Treo or a Centro. While I considered Windows Mobile devices, I think I am leaning towards getting her a Blackberry. If it matters, we use Macs. I looked at the Pearl 8100, 8110, and 8120. She is not willing to increase the size to get a full keyboard like the curve has. Any suggestions between them? I know the 8120 has Wi-Fi. Will that work on any Wi-Fi or does it need a subscription of some sort? (The last at the at&t store told me it won't work without a subscription). We will not be getting a data plan so the core e-mail function will not be used. Is the 8110 worth the premium over the 8100. Or is the 8120 worth the premium over the other two? Any advice is appreciated. fb

I am not sure what you are asking? All BBs pretty much work the same and do the same things. I have owned blackberrys from Cingular, T-Mobile, and now Verizon. And other than some custom apps that each carrier may add to thier model, they are the same. Only difference might be if wi-fi is built in or not. But all of the 8100 series are petty much identical.
