Okay, so I go to the VZW website to figure out how to change the signature line on my BB outgoing email. It sends me to the BIS website. I go to type in my PIN and ESN and it tells me I have to access the BIS from my phone....so how do I change the signature line?! Help!!! |

I'd call VZW today, but I have terrible laryngitis, so it wouldn't do me any good... Maybe you can call VZW and let me know what they say?! | |

Eric....don't know if you figured it out or not, but I did... You need to look up on Google Blackberry Internet service ATT and there's a direct link to where you need to go. Create an account (if you haven't already on your BB). Once the account is created, you can edit the signature from there. And it works flawlessly! |

Go onto your desktop computer (not your BB). Go to this link: https://att.blackberry.com/ Create an account (if you don't already have one created on your BB). Once you've logged in, you can edit your signature(s) from here. I was able to do it with both my email accounts. |

No problem!!! If you get an error message, let me know and I'll walk you through how to circumvent that as well (as I couldn't establish the account online, I had to do it through my phone).

yea that didnt work for me. when i goto my email setup and click edit my email accounts i can see the signature, but i cant figure out how to edit it. there is a "?" next to where it says signature, but when i click that i get a 404 error and that seems to be the only place that i can edit the signature. |

Okay....so you're saying you COULDN'T go online and set up the account? Once you do, you'd set up the signature ON the computer, NOT on your BB. You cannot alter the signature ON the BB. Once you log in on the computer, it'll show the email accounts you've set up on the BB. At the far right, there's an "Edit" link...that's where you alter the signature. So just to clarify... Could you login on the computer at the link I gave you? Start there and then I can walk you through it. |

Okay....here's what you have to do: Go to your E-mail settings Click on Create New Account Follow the prompts with a user name and passcode Once finished, go back to the directions I posted before. You shouldn't have any problems then. Let me know how this works out for you. |

yea, the way i minimize it is using that i try to never give my email address out. there are still rare occasions that i get it, but usually the BB is good about blocking alot of it like you said. BB > All! |
