Hey everybody,

In the last few days my phone keeps saying Data Connection Refused, off and on all day. I'm thinkin this is a network error, or is it a phone error??

Sometimes I also have to send a text message out twice, because the first one get's a 'Protocol Error'

Does anyone know what the problem is?

I have the BlackBerry 8700g with Cellular One

Sounds like network troubles to me. Have you contacted Cellular One?

I agree with Matt, I used to see this a lot when I used blackberries and it always was some sort of Network/Account issue. You may make sure they didn't remove your data plan, as Verizon was notorious about doing that when I supported blackberries. Not sure how a data plan can be mysteriously removed from an account but it seemed to happen frequently. And it is not just Verizon as the same thing happened on T-Mobile and Cingular. Ok rant finished.
