I'm looking for a Audiovox CDM-9900 display. My preachers son has broken the display on his phone and I told him I would try to find him one. I have searched many sites on the web with no luck. I'm not sure if the outside display is effected or not. Anyone have a clue where I might find one of these? Thanks in advance for any help on this! |

Homestly...you are probably not going to get opne. If you hang out here, at hofo (howard forums), and on ebay you could probably get one for not too much money. There is a VERY small chance of me selliung mine anytime soon but others are selling theres. Also. And you need to GET THIS. Getting the parts and repairining a phone WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE than buying one on ebay. And that's asuming that you can find the part and a repair tech in the first place. |

When I broke the display on my old phone, it cost $65 for the repair at the VZW store. If you find a display, do you plan on changing it yourself? |

Over the last 2 years or so VZW has very much moved away from actual phone repair. They just replace or reflash now.

Just over 2 years. I'm pretty sure that store still does repairs like that.

Yes, I can do the replacement myself. I have been an electronics technician for nearly thirty years and have done this before on my own phone. Still no luck finding a display. I had to buy one for a Motorola T720 about a year ago and had no problem finding a replacement. I may have to buy another phone from eBay to use as a donor. Thanks for the replies!

http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=352 Same phone for sprint. the screens are identical (as far as I know) and it would probably be easier to find.
