The handset settings can be restored to the original factory settings. Some of the 9500s have a master clear option as well but not all of the 9500s. 1. Press the F key (menu) 2. Select security 3. Select reset 4. enter security code 5. Press OK 6. Select settings 7. select yes or no 8. Press ok The default code is 1234
