Downloading wallpaper on the AUdiovox 9500

I want to put one of my own pictures as the background of my audiovox 9500. That is, on the main display screen thats there when you open the phone. If you go to wallpaper, it gives you a choice of "off, Pattern (the preloaded nature pictures) and download". When I hit download it says "no entry". Then I got demos of the picture programs "Snapfish" and "EXego" and I could import pictures using those programs but they were only wallpaper when I was using that particular program. So my question is how do I get pictures into the Wallpaper - Download folder?

As of right now, there's no way to do it. I hear that VZW is working on a GIN (get it now) wallpaper download application (like Modtones and Ringster for ringers), but they haven't released anything yet. However, once they do, it will probably be of the pay-per-picture sort. A bunch of users are currently trying to hack into the phone using the GAGIN (get around get it now) program like users have for the T720 and VX4400. It's a work in progress and they're working hard every day so we 9500 users can upload our own personal ringers and pics. Just be patient and eventually we'll have the option available one way or another.
