AudioVox 9500 GIN Games and their Future!??

Here's an email i received back from Game Loft's US division:

We have no plans to port Prince of Persia to 9500 at this point. It has been released on T720 Verizon. ....mostly the popularity of the phone. We don't see the 9500 as a key phone. Our teams are tied porting our portfolio to the most popular phones and the

Looks like the Audiovox brand itself is not a key contender for some game developers, especially a big one like Game Loft. Anyone who hopes for the same games as the T-720 will be dissapointed.

I am not surprised. Luckily I didn't buy my phone to play games. While those people with the T720 are playing games, us Audiovox folks will be placing phone calls! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Seriously though, I don't blame the software developers. It is probably not worth their effort to make the game for the 9500. Perhaps Verizon can be blamed somewhat for not praising the qualities of the 9500 or for pimping POS phones like the T720 has been for the most part, but the game developers are not really to blame here IMO.

To be honest i dont play many games, I just like Prince of Persia. I wouldnt trade my 9500 for a T-720! My friend has one, and even the people secretly at Verizon know damm well the 9500 is a better phone. I think Motorola just has a better relationship with Verizon.

If anyone knows how to convert games from one type of phone to another let me know, id be up for the project.
