hi, i have a audiovox 8900 and i have names in my phone book with numbers of course and when i get a call it only shows a number and not the name on the outside window and my friend has the same phone but i have verizon he has u.s. cellular.can you please help me out and tell me whats wrong... Not real sure since it's been a while since this has come up, but if the numbers in your phone book don't have the area code included with the rest of the number, try that and see if it fixes things.  |

The reason is because the brainiacs at audiovox only use the number programmed with the area code. If you notice when someone calls it has the area code , but not the name. Include the area code and the name will show.
