I presently have a 9500 that i've had for a little over a year. I like the size as I have large hands. I don't like the way it bugs up on me while using wireless web...i've gone thru 3 like that. At first I was pondering on the Moto V710 since it's about the same size as my 9500. Now i'm reading rave reviews on the 9900. I haven't read anything, tho, about how it compares in size to the 9500. Does anyone know? I could care less about cameras, videos, & bluetooth...the mp3 ringtone capability is pretty cool, tho. Any help will be appreciated. |

While I can't compare it to a 9500, I can say it is a large phone. I've had it for two weeks. While there are some features I thought were better on other phones, it is a very good phone for the money. I'm happy with it.

The size of the 9900 is almost identical to the 9500 only about 4mm difference so it should work fine for you, the menu user interface is also better layed out than the 9500 and easier to use that's also a plus not to mention the quality of the display, i would think of this phone as the 9600 that was supposed to be the follow up to the 9500 that never got released.... Here's a comparison chart....9500 VS 9900

Since i've had so much trouble with my 9500, VZW's gonna give me a little "incentive" to get a new phone & extend my plan. I noticed this phone's gotten better ratings than the Moto 710. Is the 9900 about the best that VZW has to offer in the way of phones? Has anyone had both the 710 & the 9900 to offer a comparison? I need a tri-mode phone as I live in a rural area with alot of deadspots. Thanks. |

OK...let's say money's no object between the 710 & the 9900, is the 9900 still the superior phone of the 2?
