Well the vox forums dont seem to be too active. The 8940 has been up on phonescoop for about a week now and nobody's mentioned it here. Anyways, it seems like I'll finally be getting a new phone when this thing comes out. Its not entirely to big (unlike the moto v710 and the recent LG phones). Its got ev-do capabilities so hopefully it wont be much longer before the service goes nationwide. also has speakerphone and a camera. I really wanted bluetooth...but it seems like bluetooth is not all its cracked up to be as far as verizon phones are concerned. I was totally ready to purchase the moto 710..however I could not let myself get a phone that big. this phone is about the same size as the t720 which is perfectly acceptable for me. additional features: dual color screens mini sd card slot video playback and streaming video http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum.php?ff=605 Last edited by JFB; 10-21-2008 at 4:35 PM. |

The V710 may be huge, but anything that can pull in signal like that in places I have only seen a Startac work iws well worth considering. But not now for me. Too much $$$$ for too little benefit.
