Default 8940

Well the vox forums dont seem to be too active. The 8940 has been up on phonescoop for about a week now and nobody's mentioned it here. Anyways, it seems like I'll finally be getting a new phone when this thing comes out. Its not entirely to big (unlike the moto v710 and the recent LG phones). Its got ev-do capabilities so hopefully it wont be much longer before the service goes nationwide. also has speakerphone and a camera. I really wanted bluetooth...but it seems like bluetooth is not all its cracked up to be as far as verizon phones are concerned. I was totally ready to purchase the moto 710..however I could not let myself get a phone that big. this phone is about the same size as the t720 which is perfectly acceptable for me.

additional features:
dual color screens
mini sd card slot
video playback and streaming video

Big? I'm still using a TDMA Motorola P8090 Timeport if you want to talk about big... the v710 is pretty much the same size as my current phone, it just does a lot more. I'll be getting it when it comes out for my provider. I wish it had EV-DO but since I can't use that now anyway but really want Bluetooth, the v710 is the new handset for me. Good luck with the 8940, though.

The V710 may be huge, but anything that can pull in signal like that in places I have only seen a Startac work iws well worth considering. But not now for me. Too much $$$$ for too little benefit.
