I haven't used this phone since it first came out in December and when I had it, it had a ton of software bugs

. I would have kept it but all of the bugs were a little annoying. I was wondering, people with the Audiovox 8900 that got it recently, how is it and how is it holding up? I mite want to pick one of these up. I really like the style of this phone and how everything on it was set up.

I just got the phone Friday, and can honestly say I like it a lot. Yes, there are some minor annoyances. The biggest for me is the Verizon Wireless banner, and how it covers up the time and caller ID which is really stupid. There is a fix to this, but it does seem like a pain, however, I am going to pressure Verizon to give me a non-ERI PRL, which will stop the problem. I wish we could set a full length ringtone for voicemails and messages. Other than that, I am very happy with the phone, awesome RF (almost as good as the coveted Nokia), strong build quality, and nice looks. Feel free to PM me with questions

I am glad you are liking tjhe phone. I am going to buy the data cable at some point and get rid of the banner...along with a few other...improvements. By the way, did you follow my sugestion about the room?

What is a "non-ERI PRL"?
