I am trying to get rid of that annoying VZW banner on my 8900 and I saw that programming nam2 would work... it does but I get a message saying that my phone cannot be authenticated and to call #8899. So I called and told the rep that I have two phone numbers and I need to put my local number in nam 2. they told me that they no longer support dual-nams even though the phone does. And that I would have to reprogram my phone in nam1 each time I needed to access the other number. That's Bull, because I had my t720 working like this with two legit numbers two months ago. and had only little problems in the initial programming (something to do with the a-key) but I was able to switch seemlessley between both numbers without any system messages. I even called back to tech support and they wouldn't even touch the issue. So can anyone verify this or can anyone help me out with this. I have e*roes access but haven't seen any messages or postings in the info center refering to this. |
