I dont think its possible ... I searched and I searched and I searched for a way to do it, but I could not find any :-\ So i gave up and got a phone that IS always digital but yeah seriously while I had the phone I really wanted to find a way to force it to digital only and I came up empty handed.

Try ##TEST + OK = ##8378 + OK. Thats what does it on the 8900. Also see this link for other 8600 info. Alot of the same things work on the 8900.

Thanks for your help on this. However, the 8600 must have slightly different software. When I hit ##8378 and "ok" it says it can not find the number. Oh well, I will keep triyng. Thanks again for your help.

Tried it and it does not work. But thanks anyway. You can force the phone into CDMA , but I do not know if you are forcing it into digital only. I do not have any areas nearby that are analog, so I will have to wait until I am in an analog area and try it.Thanks again.
