OK i've had my 8900 for like a month nd a half and all of sudden it squeaks!! like if i put any pressure on the phone when it's to my ear it....squeaks. it is very annoying, has anyone else had thi problem!?!? if i take it to verizon can they/will they do anything about it??? its unbearable!!

I've noticed this problem too. It's just part of a non-sturdy phone. It will probably get worse as time goes on.

Maybe the little rubber bumper behind the hinge squeaks when the phone is opened and pressure is put on it.

Don't know if it can be lubed, and even if it could be, wouldn't know what to use.

Well, since this is apparently not an isolated issue try reporting it to Verizon. If they have had a lot of complaints they might swap out your phone for a new one. Of course it would be rather discouraging if you had to do that every 6 weeks or so.
