Default 8900 help just got it

Hi all,

first time poster here, I just upgraded to the Audiovox 8900 on Verizon. I love the phone for the most part, but i do have a strange issue, and I dont know if it is normal for this phoen or I should exchange it.

Here s what happens when I am talking on the phone the person on the other end, sometimes the volume sounds like it gets louder then quieter in a matter of seconds. really hard to explain. But the volume does not seem to be constant like my older phone, also the other thing is sometimes the phone is too lou and it sounds worst not sure if you know what I mean.

Otherwise the phone is great havent dropped a connection yet, i just want to know if all the models are like this or i have a bad one.

thanks
