Has anyone figured out how to stop the sub-lcd on the 8600 from flashing back and forth between "Verizon Wireless" and the date/time. I only want to see the date/time.

I know who I pay for service, I don't need reminders every other second! I was able to remove the words "Verizon Wireless" from the main LCD on my LG VX-4400 , so I am hoping there is a similar proceedure out there for the 8600.

You should check my post called "8600 update to fix problems?" Both phones have the same problem. You can not get rid of it flashing 24/7/365 days a year in less you do what I mentioned in the post.

This website may help get action on getting the 8600 to work..better (best way I can figure out how) if we all get motivated to voice our concerns and have them documented the way I have with Verizon & Audiovox.
