Ok, to get into the Audiovox 8900'as feild test mode you need to dial ##27732726 and then hit the END key. After that press 3 for the Debug screen. Right now mine looks like this:

P498 R055 C0384
00022-00000-1

PAGE Ec:-0.65
Rx: -54 Tx:NoTx
P_Rev B:6 M:6
U:6

Anyone care to translate this entirely?

The RX i get and the P i belive is tower but I am confused by the rest.

I wish i could help ya out Drew, but I was just looking at all those numbers on my 4500 and I was gonna ask people what they all meant....I am sure someone will come along and answer our questions. you might try another forum just for the fact that not to many people come around the Audiovox forum .. so if you ask elsewhere it might get answered faster!

I am really liking the 4500. It is one of the most comfortable phones i have used...it fits my face well. I must say that I have not been able to get the voice dial to work right. I was talkin to people in the LG forum and they all insisted I was doing something wrong since it doesnt work for me...but I have tried everything and it just doesnt recognize the names I say. Oh well, the speakerphone is nice and I am very happy with everything else so far!
